Living in the Aerie

The Aerie climbs the hillside above Deer Valley Drive, where Old Town, Prospector and lower Deer Valley meet. From up here you can see much of Park City, and yet you’re only minutes from all of it.

A view over the hills from a home in the Aerie

At a glance

  • Where. Off Deer Valley Drive at Aerie Drive, between Masonic Hill and Mellow Mountain.
  • Homes. Mostly single-family homes on the hillside, with townhomes in April Mountain and homes in Overlook.
  • Skiing. Deer Valley’s Snow Park base and Park City Mountain are both a short drive away.
  • Outside. Trails on Masonic Hill and Mellow Mountain, including Lost Prospector, close to home.
  • Errands. Main Street and Prospector are each a few minutes down the hill.
  • Getting around. City buses stop along Deer Valley Drive below.
  • Schools. Park City School District. Check any address with the district’s own locator.

Daily life

Life in the Aerie starts with the view. Dinner on Main Street is a quick drive down, and the trails on the surrounding hills are right there for an evening walk.

My take

My go-to spot. Main Street or Prospector, depending on the day. Both are surprisingly easy to reach from the neighborhood.

What people don’t realize. The Aerie looks removed from town, but it’s incredibly central. The bigger considerations are driveway grade, winter exposure and how the home sits on the hillside.

What I love most. The views. You can see the energy of Park City below while still coming home to a quieter hillside.

If you’d like to see the Aerie the way I’d show it, say hello.
